A Movie?
You may have enjoyed reading "Peak", but would yuou like a movie? Personally, I wouldn't. This movie would be extremely hard to film on Everest, so it would probably have to be filmed with a lot of editing later and that would make it look unrealistic. Since a lack of oxygen can affect brian function it would be hard to do anything while on Everest, much less act. In my opinion, "Peak" should be left as it is, in book form.
What do you think, should Peak be made into a movie?

Characters
My personal favorite character would have to be Peak. What makes him my favorite character is the sacrifice he made for Sun-jo. I wish I could say that its what I would have done, but I can't.

Author Biography
When Roland Smith was five years old, his parents got him a typewriter. He would spend hours typing on it every day to hear the clacking sound it makes, but of course since he was only five, he did not know how to spell. Not much has changed since then. Smith went to Portland State University in hope to become a writer. One day, he looked through lists of jobs and started working at a local zoo. This was originally supposed to be a short one year job, but turned into a 20 year career. He eventually quit to meet his dream of becoming a writer. A few dozen books later, Smith writes today.
Questions for those who have read "Peak"
1. Why did Peak allow Sun-jo to reach the top instead of taking the title of "youngest person to climb Mount Everest"?
2. Would you have done this?
3. Why did Zopa make the boys walk up to the Base Camp instead of ride AND carry extra gear?
4. Why was Peak in such serious trouble for climbing and “tagging” skyscrapers in New York?
5. Why does Peak think he was caught AND what is his greatest disappointment in being caught?

Plot of Peak
Peak is a fourteen year old boy, whose parents are mountain climbers. With climbing in his blood, his lifelong dream, along with all of the other mountain climbers in the world, is to climb Mount Everest. Went he gets caught climbing a skyscraper, his biological father bails Peak out of juvy and brings him to Thailand to live with him. Or so Peak thinks. His father actually brings him to Everest for a chance to be the youngest person to reach the summit.
